Eid-ul Adha greetings

May we continue to rekindle the spirit of sacrifice as it was exemplified by our Prophet Ibrahim a.s. and his son Ismail a.s. simply for the sake of seeking the pleasure of Allah and Him alone...Amin.

Is This Love I’m Feeling?

“Love is a serious mental disease.” At least that’s how Plato put it. And while anyone who’s ever been ‘in love’ might see some truth to this statement, there is a critical mistake made here. Love is not a mental disease. Desire is.

'Ramadhan kareem!' and it is replied with 'Allahu akram!'.

Just a little something to share. Click to listen ^_^

Memories that hurt

It was a dark and a lonely night. It was way past her usual bedtime. But her eyes are still lively, maybe due to the gourmet coffee concoction she had earlier that night.

It was the memories that kept her awake. Memories that swirls around her like a gloomy mist. She choked, fighting back tears. Slowly the chapters unfolded, visioning each scene like pictures of a story book, page after page.

She’s hurt herself. Again and again. It was neither that she was naïve nor ignorant. Her eyes welled up of tears. It dripped down slowly, one by one. She started sobbing hard. Reached out for a tissue, two, and three..

She took a deep breath, held it, and let it out slowly. It was then that she was reminded of this:

''O ye who believe! Celebrate the praises of Allah, and do this often; And glorify Him morning and evening. He it is Who sends blessings on you, as do His angels, that He may bring you out from the depths of Darkness into Light: and He is Full of Mercy to the Believers.''(al-Quran 33:41-43)

.

She smiled.

Nak makan susah..nak minum pun susah..

He was struggling to hold a spoon with his right hand. The spoon has a large handle, easing him to grip while trying to scoop up pieces of uncooked macaroni. He scooped, lifted up the spoon and poured back the macaronis into its bowl.

I watched with interest.

The boy is around 14 years of age, has small yet a
sturdy looking body and a nice smile. He speaks slowly yet clearly, mixing Malay and English in the process. With his 'old-school' spectacles, he looked a little smart and cheeky at first glance.

He then tries to lift up an empty plastic cup to his mouth, imitating drinking. Done. Now he tries with another smaller plastic cup. He struggles a little. But managed.
'Cawan yang kecik ni susah sikit la kak..' He said, but repeats the exercise.
(This photo has nothing to do with the story :p)
Just a few months ago, this boy was running around the futsal court, happily and energetically kicking and chasing the ball with his friends. Little did he know that today, a simple task of eating and brushing his own teeth would be considered a major obstacle.

'Kak, Dr tadi suruh jalan jauh sangat..Rekod Dunia ni kak..huu' He said.
What he meant by 'Jalan jauh sangat' is 3 rooms away...

-Venue: Occupational Therapy Room
-The boy is suffering from rheumatoid athritis

-Jangan putus asa untuk berusaha, rajinkan diri untuk isi roh kita supaya sentiasa bersemangat untuk 'bergerak'. Kemalasan kita adalah penyebab Islam ditindas...

As death draw near

We might not have the chance to choose our birth, but
we still have the opportunity to choose our death.
It's in your hand, to leave this world with triumph or failure.
Out there, there's still too much of misery but lack of empathy.
Loads of enmity but little of kindness and love.
To my fellow mankind, reveal what have been concealed.
May you find the truth.

Feel like complaining?

'When sometimes in life, you fall down, do you think you have hope to get back up?'
'If I fail I'll try again..and again..and again..but I know its not the end. It matters how you're gonna finish. Are you going to finish strong? You WILL find that strength to get back up'

So, do you still feel like complaining after watching the video clip?
Allah has given us loads. Why are we still not following His rules and be thankful?

41. O you who believe! Remember Allah with much remembrance.

42. And glorify His Praises morning and afternoon [the early morning (Fajr) and 'Asr prayers].

(al-Ahzab 33:41-42)

USIM telah memenangi satu emas untuk projek The Formulation of High Fibre Guava Cookies from different Parts of Pink Guava Fruit. Projek itu turut dianugerahkan Special Project Award: Sustainability. Pemenang projek ini membawa pulang cek bernilai RM3,000 dan sebuah piala. (^_^)

Selain itu USIM turut memenangi satu pingat perak untuk projek Software Agent for Registry Repair & Maintainance (Spyjak Antivirus Software) dan tiga pingat gangsa untuk projek New Feldspar-Immobilized Biocatalysts for Organic Synthesis, Antimicrobial Activity of Essential Oils from Cymbopogon nardus & Cymbopogon Flexuosus dan Clarification of Pink Guava Juice by Enzymatic Treatment.

Hati

''Carilah hatimu sewaktu membaca al-Quran.

A very nice quote that may just benefit us all =)

Alone and scared?

I went through some unforgetful experience a few weeks ago..that could be FATAL and cost me my modesty which had the people that loves me worried sick. If not for the protection from the Almighty, then all could be worse.

My mom taught me of reading 'Laaila ha illa anta subhaanaka inni kuntu minazzolimiin' at times when I am distressed, or a few hundred times during the day, if I remember.

It was the sweetness of tawakkal and the doa. I was trembling. My heart beated as if I was running a 100m sprint. And the only one I hoped to was Him.

I strongly advise all gurls, when we travel, especially when we're alone (and we can't help being alone sometimes, so don't blame us, got it?) to read this doa. Doa Nabi Yunus. And tawakkal. Better to be safe, than sorry. Allah will take care of us. Insya Allah.

The Brick

A young and successful executive was traveling down a neighborhood street, going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar. He was watching for kids darting out from between parked cars and slowed down when he thought he saw something. As his car passed, no children appeared. Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag's side door.

He slammed on the brakes and backed the Jag back to the spot where the brick had been thrown. The angry driver then jumped out of the car, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed him up against a parked car shouting,

'What was that all about and who are you? Just what the heck are you doing? That's a new car and that brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money. Why did you do it?'

The young boy was apologetic.

'Please, mister...please, I'm sorry but I didn't know what else to do,' He pleaded. 'I threw the brick because no one else would stop...'

With tears dripping down his face and off his chin, the youth pointed to a spot just around a parked car.

'It's my brother,' he said, 'he rolled off the curb and fell out of his wheelchair and I can't lift him up.'

Now sobbing, the boy asked the stunned executive,

'Would you please help me get him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt and he's too heavy for me.'

Moved beyond words, the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling lump in his throat. He hurriedly lifted the handicapped boy back into the wheelchair, then took out a linen handkerchief and dabbed at the fresh scrapes and cuts. A quick look told him everything was going to be okay.

'Thank you and may God bless you,' the grateful child told the stranger. Too shook up for words, the man simply watched the boy push his wheelchair-bound brother down the sidewalk toward their home.

It was a long, slow walk back to the Jaguar. The damage was very noticeable, but the driver never bothered to repair the dented side door. He kept the dent there to remind him of this message:

'Don't go through life so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to get your attention!'

Allah whispers in our souls and speaks to our hearts. Sometimes when we don't have time to listen, He has to throw a brick at us. It's our choice to listen or not.

The Arrivals (Part 1-3)

Have you watched The Arrivals? This is what they say:

''This Series Explores the Revelations in World Religions Regarding the Arrivals of the Antichrist Dajjal, Imam Al-Mahdi, and The Second Coming of The Christ.

A Work Inspired by Hashemsfilms and of Course the Words of the Noble Qoran, The Holy Bible, and The Torah, The Arrivals is a Joint Production by truthseekers Noreagaaa and Achernahr.''

Click here for the teaser. This shows the fight humans are going through. I watched the second part before I watched this video; it takes too long to download.

Click here for Part 2. It's about mind control featuring George Carlin. Who's George Carlin? I don't know. I wikied him and you can view this if you'd like to know more. He was arrested twice during his early days for his strong views.

His remarks on human life was: "I think we're already 'circling the drain' as a species, and I'd love to see the circles get a little faster and a little shorter." True kan? The humans are living the vicious circle. Day in, day out doing the same things. Everyday. Well, that'll be another entry, I think.

Well, back to Part 2 of The Arrivals; I think its scarily true. How citizens are 'taught' to think by the government. How muslims are 'taught' to think by the West. The unwritten agenda of perang saraf, or ghazwatul fikr.

This is my humble opinion. I don't know what to think. I'd love to have some insights by Pakcik-Makcik or anyone else for that matter if I can.

It's on childrens' mind control. ''The proof of this is very easy to find. All you have to do is research who owns and runs the medias of the world. You'll find out that its the same type of minority that runs and survives on secret societies; zionists, luciferians, Jews. They own and run the music medias, movies, entertainment and porn industry''

Yes, you and I and our little brothers and sisters are being indoctrinated. The minute we turn on the TV, or switch on our lappys or PCs, or the pages we read.
This is the very reason why we must have strong faith. The reason why we join usrah, liqa', halaqah, programmes or whatever you call it. So we have our stand. Al-Quran dan Sunnah. Ahlil Sunnah wal Jamaah.

''One who stands for nothing will fall for anything'' That clip said. This is so true! Owh, and Dumbo and his mouse friend. That was scary.

Thats it I think for now. I've only watch until Part 3. I'll continue some time later.

Allah's Pharmacy

I went blog surfing one day, and I found this, isn't it awesome? MashaAllah!
(for some reason one minute the pictures work, the next they dont...)

A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye...and YES science now shows that carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.

A Tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart is red and has four chambers. All of the research shows tomatoes are indeed pure heart and blood food.

Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the research today shows that grapes are also profound heart and blood vitalizing food .

A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds are on the nut just like the neo-cortex. We now know that walnuts help develop over 3 dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.

Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys .

Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough sodium in your diet the body pulls it from the bones, making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.

Eggplant, Avocadoes and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs. Today's research shows that when a woman eats 1 avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this? .... It takes exactly 9 months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 photolytic chemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (modern science has only studied and named about 141 of them).

Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the motility of male sperm and increase the numbers of Sperm cells to overcome male sterility.

Grapefruits, Oranges, and other Citrus fruits look just like the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts .

Onions look like body cells. Today's research shows that onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes.

Sweet Potatoes look like the pancreas and actually balance the glycemic index of diabetics.

Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries

Then which of the favours of your Allah will ye deny? - [Quran 55:13]
